Will God bring revival?  First, we must understand what we mean by the word “revival.”  “Revival” is:

A special (meaning “not normally a daily occurrence”) movement OF GOD both within and without the body of Christ (the whole body of Christians, regardless of religion, church, or denominational affiliation) that results in:

·        Greater holiness (not simply greater righteousness [right living] but greater spontaneous [automatic {involving no effort of will}], heartfelt dedication [devotion of more (not necessarily most or all) of one’s personal resources {time, energy – both physical and emotional energy – money, etc.}] to God) among Christians

·        Greater numbers saved (rescued from sin and hell and “registered” for heaven) in an unusually shorter period of time than normal

·        Greater respect for moral and ethical standards among both Christians and the general population.

Will God bring revival?  Well, first, can we even know the answer to this question?  The answer to this second question is yes.  How can we determine whether God will bring revival?  God runs an orderly and, by his will, somewhat predictable spiritual, social, and physical universe.  He has set forth certain principles (in the Bible [the King James Bible]) that enable us to know certain things that he will do in this universe.  (We will add Scriptural references for these principles to this article at a future point in time.)  Based on these principles, we know the following:

God will bring revival if there is the right COINCIDENCE (the quality of occurring at the same time) OF CIRCUMSTANCES.  These circumstances are:

1)      There is a need for revival.

2)      Some people see the need for revival.

3)      Some people realize that there is nothing that any person or group of people can do to bring about revival.

4)      Some people ask God for revival.

5)      People believe that God communicates with humanity.

a.      People believe that God communicates with humanity in a specific way.

i)        People believe that God communicates with humanity in a manifest way.

(1)   People believe that God communicates with humanity in a visible way.

(a)   People believe that God communicates with humanity in a single, visible way.

(i)     People believe that God communicates with humanity in a single, written way.

6)      God communicates with humanity in a single, written way accepted by most people.

a.      God communicates with humanity through the King James Bible since it is the only Bible accepted by most people.

7)      Some people believe the message that God has communicated.

NEED

Is there a need for revival?  This is an easy question to the answer.  All you have to do is to look at the popular culture.  The motion pictures coming out of Hollywood are one example.  Is there a need for revival?  Yes.

SIGHT

Does anyone see the need for revival?  Yes, multitudes do.

NOTHING

Do people realize that there is nothing they can do to bring about revival?  Yes and no.  Many ask God for revival thinking that prayer moves us closer to revival.  PRAYER DOES NOT MOVE US CLOSER TO REVIVAL.  GOD IS ALREADY SET TO BRING REVIVAL.  Prayer simply SIGNALS GOD when Christians and the general population are READY for revival.

ASKING

Are people asking God for revival?  Yes, multitudes are.

COMMUNICATION

Do people believe that God communicates with humanity?  Yes.

SPECIFICITY

Do people believe that God communicates with humanity in a specific way?  Yes.

MANIFESTATION

Do people believe that God communicates with humanity in a way that they can experience?  Yes.

VISIBILITY

Do people believe that God communicates with humanity in a way that they can see?  Yes.

SINGULARITY

Do people believe that God communicates in one way?  Yes.  Note that it is not necessary that people believe that he communicates in ONLY one way.

WRITINGS

Do people believe that God communicates through a written word?  Yes.

MAJORITY

Does God communicate through a written word accepted by most people?  Yes.

KING JAMES BIBLE

Does God communicate through the King James Bible?  Yes.

FAITH

Does anyone believe the message God has communicated?  Yes.

CONCLUSION

THERE IS THE RIGHT COINCIDENCE OF CIRCUMSTANCES NECESSARY FOR REVIVAL.  Therefore, we can confidently assert:

A REVIVAL HAS ALREADY BEGUN NOT ONLY IN AMERICA BUT ALSO IN ALL OF THE NATIONS ON EARTH!
