Before we begin, please note that we are engaged in this project NOT BECAUSE WE DO NOT ALREADY HAVE A PERFECT BIBLE…WE DO ALREADY HAVE A PERFECT BIBLE.  We are engaged in this project because the Christian community would be better off EVEN MORE UNITED than it already is.  Also, this project is only one of several projects that we are currently undertaking.

Today, November 20, 2004, marks the beginning of “The Public KJV Project.”  This is the first modern attempt to create a translation of the Bible that is accepted by EVERYONE.  Of course, we realize that it is more than highly unlikely that it will be accepted by EVERYONE.  So, in reality, we are seeking to create a translation of the Bible that is accepted by MOST PEOPLE.  Now, some would argue that even this is impossible.  If so, then it will be enough that the translation of the Bible we seek to create be accepted by MOST, GOOD PEOPLE, AND, ESPECIALLY, MOST GOOD CHRISTIANS!

One of the unique things about this translation is that the entire translation process will be televised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long, and for as long as it takes.  This will be accomplished through ‘The Public KJV Project’ Cable Network (KJV-TV).  We welcome all input from all individuals, groups, colleges, universities, Bible scholars, biblical textual critics, churches, denominations, etc., etc.  Join us in this historic work!  Email us at kjv-tv@lfnexus.com.
