Note that this page, in conjunction with other content already published on our website, will complete the Seminar on the “True Text” for those of you who believe the Word of God (the Bible).  For the rest of you, it will not.  The rest of you will have to study the rest of the material that we provide and will provide in our full Seminar on the “True Text.”  Before you proceed, you must read our page titled “The Bible Is Its Own Textual Critic.”

This will be a leap forward in knowledge for most, if not all, of you.  We have shown via the TBI-IOTC Principle that God has intended that his word be known NOW.

This means that there is a deadline (a date or time before which something must be done) for THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW GOD’S MESSAGE.  This is the Deadline Principle.  Note that this is an informal statement of the Deadline Principle.

THE DEADLINE PRINCIPLE

Let us state the Deadline Principle again:

There is a deadline for the opportunity to know God’s message.

Now, this deadline has already passed.  This means that you HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW GOD’S MESSAGE.

In order for you to have the OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW GOD’S MESSAGE, you must HAVE the PRECISE WORDS OF THE MESSAGE OF GOD.

Ergo (therefore), YOU HAVE THE PRECISE WORDS OF THE MESSAGE OF GOD.

Ergo (therefore), the question is NOT “What are the precise words of the message of God?” but “WHERE are the precise words of the message of God?”

But wait; we have proven that God wants you to know his message NOW.

Ergo, you ALREADY KNOW where the precise words of the message of God are.

At this point, you will have one of the following thoughts:

1.      The precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible.

2.      The precise words of the message of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible.

3.      I don’t know where the precise words of the message of God are.

4.      The precise words of the message of God are in a Hebrew-Aramaic-Greek Bible.

5.      < Any of a number of other possible thoughts >

This leads us to another principle, the Individual Persuasion Principle.

THE INDIVIDUAL PERSUASION PRINCIPLE

The Individual Persuasion Principle is also based on the TBI-IOTC Principle.  The Individual Persuasion Principle states:

If one is living a consistently righteous life, which includes absolute honesty in their thinking, whatever they fully believe to be the truth about the precise words of God [including any of items 1 through 5 above] has God’s stamp of approval.  This does not mean, however, that what they believe is necessarily true.  It simply means that God approves of their living their life by what they believe.  In addition, if their belief is false, God may, and probably will, eventually lead them to the correct belief.

Therefore, if you meet the conditions of the Individual Persuasion Principle, you are free to believe any of the following (the same as 1 through 5 above):

THE REFINEMENT PROCESS

Now, we happen to KNOW that some of the numbered items above are false.  Therefore, it is our responsibility to prove to everyone that they are false.  First, item number 5 is addressed by addressing items 1 through 4.  Therefore, our list is shortened to:

We will address items 1 through 4 in reverse order:

1.      The precise words of the message of God are in a Hebrew-Aramaic-Greek Bible.

2.      I don’t know where the precise words of the message of God are.

3.      The precise words of the message of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible.

4.      The precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible.

THE LANGUAGE PRINCIPLE

We are addressing:

The precise words of the message of God are in a Hebrew-Aramaic-Greek Bible.

God has intended that we know his message NOW.  That means that if you don’t know ancient Hebrew, ancient Aramaic, and ancient Greek, you must know his message IN A LANGUAGE THAT YOU KNOW AND IN WHICH YOU CAN REASON.  (You must be able to reason in the language because you must apply the Bible and application of the Bible requires the use of reason.)  This means that the precise words of the message of God are NOT in a Hebrew-Aramaic-Greek Bible FOR YOU.  In this case, you must read on.  If you know the ancient languages of the Bible AND YOU ARE ABLE TO REASON IN THE ANCIENT LANGUAGES OF THE BIBLE (for you must apply the Bible and application of the Bible requires the use of reason) YOU CAN USE THE BIBLE IN THE ANCIENT LANGUAGES but you must read on.  The Language Principle states:

If you do not know the ancient languages of the Bible – Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek – the precise words of God are in one or more other languages, a language or languages that you understand and in which you can reason.  If you know the ancient languages of the Bible and you are able to reason in these languages, you can use the ancient languages Bible.

Note that, even if you know the ancient languages, there are multiple ancient language Bibles to choose from.  This means you must address the same type of conflict that exists between the King James Bible and XYZ modern translations of the Bible.  For now, we leave it to you to deduce the arguments that apply to pro KJV ancient language Bibles and pro XYZ ancient language Bibles from the sections below that address items 3 and 4, the Conditional Persuasion Principle and the Ministry Principle.  Read on.

THE EDUCATION PRINCIPLE

We are addressing:

I don’t know where the precise words of the message of God are.

You will need to study our full seminar.  The Education Principle states:

Anyone who does not know where to find the precise words of the message of God needs to acquire more information before they can arrive at this knowledge.

We remind you that, if you meet the conditions of the Individual Persuasion Principle (see above), you are free to believe that you do not know where the precise words of the message of God are.  However, according to certain applications of the TBI-IOTC Principle, you must also follow the “Divine Fairness” Manifesto (read the Manifesto now).

THE CONDITIONAL PERSUASION PRINCIPLE

We are addressing:

The precise words of the message of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible.

You will need to study our full seminar.  The Conditional Persuasion Principle states:

Anyone who believes that the precise words of the message of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible needs to acquire more information before they can be persuaded of the truth.

We remind you that, if you meet the conditions of the Individual Persuasion Principle (see above), you are free to believe that the precise words of the message of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible.  However, according to certain applications of the TBI-IOTC Principle, if you have even a particle of doubt that the precise words of God are in XYZ modern translation of the Bible, you must instead follow the “Divine Fairness” Manifesto (read the Manifesto now).

THE MINISTRY PRINCIPLE

We are addressing:

The precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible.

You do not need to study the full seminar UNLESS YOU PLAN ON MINISTERING TO OTHERS AND PERSUADING THEM OF THE TRUTH.  In this case, you will need to study the full seminar.  The Ministry Principle states:

Anyone who believes that the precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible does not need to acquire more information unless they have the responsibility to teach those who do not believe that the precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible.

We remind you that, if you meet the conditions of the Individual Persuasion Principle (see above), you are free to believe that the precise words of the message of God are in the King James Version of the Bible.  However, according to certain applications of the TBI-IOTC Principle (see above), if you have even a particle of doubt that the precise words of God are in the King James Version of the Bible, you must instead follow the “Divine Fairness” Manifesto (read the Manifesto now).

EPILOGUE

There are some permutations (variations) on what we have discussed in this article but all of these permutations are addressed directly or indirectly by the points that we have made.  If you need further elaboration on any of these points, you will need to see our full seminar.
